Yelpholes and the faceless bitching masses



I have been over this before but it still never ceases to amaze me… and piss me way the hell off when this happens.

Most of you, responsible adults, accept that we have to follow the rules of any given situation. When told that this is a service that charges on the first of EVERY month and that we do NOT give refunds you all respond and react accordingly. These are not “bizarre” business practices. This is not to take anybody’s money or force anyone into more boxes than they want… No, to be honest it is totally a money saving practice. Billing once a month, asking you, the customer, to organize your cancellations around our billing cycle is, in my opinion, not a ridiculous business practice (see any ongoing prescription service… Netflix, Utilities, Phone, etc) but a normal business practice. If I didn’t do things this way it would require Mary, or someone, to be in the office at least another day or two a week. The money it would cost to do this would come right out of your boxes.

 

Now, you may ask, why is Rick ranting about this once again? Let me tell you. Once again a spoiled little boy, who wants the entire world to go just the way he thinks it should, has posted a pile of lies and slander on Yelp. He contacted us late (everyone else who quit last month knew enough to send us a note in time) throwing around all sorts of accusations. He whined and bitched and before we could even respond this is what he posted in Yelp…

 

“Really ridiculous organization and business practices. they make screw ups that cost you money and they offer to give you an extra flower! So disorganized it is unbelievable. Make super sure to check your charges! several times I have canceled for the week and they ‘accidentally’ charged me, and they only bill once a month to make it extra convoluted. also, their web page is a pure hot mess total disaster. none of the web forms work properly, and it is totally sketchy.”

Wow, huh? Well, sadly in this current push for democratizing opinion and “fact” we have lost the ability to discriminate between a vindictive spoiled malicious action and a realistic gripe. So, I need to fight back and the only way to do this is to ask you to help me. I need EVERYONE of you to go onto Yelp and speak YOUR truth. I don’t expect, nor am I asking, for you all to lie or just follow the lemmings off the cliff… NO, I want honesty. I am confident enough, given no negative agenda, that the truth will emerge when all of you speak up not just when we are breaking up.

So, I am offering free flowers to help motivate any and all of you that are willing to go in and comment about our service. I will also be giving out gift certificates for the most creative comments, the most effusive and the most original. PLEASE help us out here. With enough new reviews one or two of these Yelpholes won’t effect us as much as it does now.

Also, spring is approaching. This is the time that schools like to do money raising dinners, raffles and events to bring the community together. We here are proud to say that we are always willing to do what we can to help support our communities. As such I wanted you to all know that we almost always offer raffle prizes and contributions to our kids schools and houses of worship. Simply submit a request to our office and we will be glad to consider it. We seriously consider every request made to our office.
